Abstract: Parton distribution functions (pdfs) are an important ingredient for LHC phenomenology. Recent progress in determining pdfs from global analyses is reviewed, and some of the most important outstanding issues are highlighted. I will focus on our evolution code for un integrated PDFs which is based on the CCFM evolution equation. A description of the underlying theoretical model and technical realisation will be presented.
