Abstract: Iranian Light Source Facility (ILSF) is a new third generation synchrotron light source which is currently in design stage. The ILSF is conceived as a synchrotron light source in Iran to provide a powerful source of X-rays for the users. The main lattice candidate for the storage ring, some new alternatives and the associated Accelerator Physics issues will be discussed.
