The entire formulations of BRST and anti-BRST derivatives in presence of Nakanishi-Lautrup ï¬eld are worked out through with a diï¬erential geometric framework. Following the achievements of [33] for strict gauges, it is shown that in general form of gauges within the Faddeev-Popov quantization approach the anti-BRST invariance reï¬ects thoroughly the classical symmetry of Yang-Mills gauge theories with respect to diï¬erent mechanisms of gauge ï¬xing. The Nakanishi-Lautrup ï¬eld is also deï¬ned and worked out as a geometric object. Topological structure of anti-BRST symmetry as the quantized version of classical gauge ï¬xing invariance is also studied with comparison to that of BRST
