  Abstract:
Heterogeneity among cooperating agents has recently emerged as one of the central problems in cooperative learning researches. Cooperation in learning may cause the learning process to diverge if heterogeneity is not handled properly. In this paper, two heterogeneous agents that cooperate to learn are considered. The heterogeneity is assumed in their actions. A method is introduced for two agents to learn the mapping among their actions. The expert agent gives action recommendations to the other agent. Using our proposed method, the second agent can find the meaning of those actions in its set of actions. It is shown that, the agents are able to learn this mapping while cooperate in learning. Effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated in few simulation studies.
