The main memory systems in man consist of short and long term memories which both have important roles in processing of information on time perception. Short term uses complicated sensory input pattern to establish an oscillatory circuit, working short period of time. Long term memory uses neural network to store the information. Storing the information in long term memory takes place in layer order, which means in each layer start from new information laying over the old one in different layers. Also it starts from general topics and then leads to the specific one. The late process is also called branch storing order. The present study is a mathematical attempt to consider the oscillatory circuits of short term memory. We designed the neural network to study the process of long term memory. After considering the difference of incoming information from some special sense, such as auditory, from the level of transducer to the primary cortex, and then to the secondary cortex, searching of the given pattern in memory was considered via designing a neural network for long term memory. We used the resonance of the frequency pattern of the network for final recall of memory pattern. Also the role of thalamus in recall of information via cortical descending input was considered in this process. For higher integration and perception we presented a paradigm of associated memory, which on this integration of visual and auditory information takes place in the hippocampus. Finally the comparison of recall system in biological and nonbiological states was made, using Boolean algebra.
